The Garland Takes Gold at Wine Label Design Awards

It’s not often you come across a bottle of wine that is as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate.

Which is why garnering Gold at the recent Wine Label Design Awards is an achievement we believe is worth the mention.

With judging criteria including originality of concept, execution, shelf appeal and effectiveness as a piece of communication, the Wine Label Design Awards seeks to reward the best design and packaging for bottled wine made in South Africa.

The Garland 2008, which was released last year, is our first super premium wine and is made from a single vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes situated against the slopes of Stellenbosch’s Simonsberg Mountain – the same mountain that inspired the label.

So next time you pick up a bottle of Garland, know that it’s not only award-winning content you’re holding.
