Simonsig’s New Sleeve

Despite it being winter in the Winelands, Simonsig is blossoming. After nearly a year of conceptualisation and execution with leading South African designer Anthony Lane, we’re proud to inform you that the Simonsig Chenin Blanc 2016 and Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz 2015 will be launched in new packaging from the 1st of September 2016. Be sure to be on the lookout for the new bottle baring the Malan Family crest and a new classic yet contemporary label.

Simonsig The Garland 2009

The much-anticipated second release of Simonsig’s icon wine, The Garland Cabernet Sauvignon, emphasises the features that have made 2009 one of the most lauded vintages in the Cape Winelands’ recent history.

This classic wine exhibits ripe black currant fruit with perfumed high notes of black cherries, as well as a hint of truffle and lead pencil. Although the current vintage has already matured for seven years, it will continue to develop until it reaches its peak between 2019-2023.
